Mat Rippon

Born and raised in the Northern Rivers of NSW, Mat took an early leave pass from high school and headed north to the vast spaces of northern Australia. He worked on cattle stations from the Barkly Tablelands in the Northern Territory to Broome in Western Australia, and everywhere in between. Over the next 20 years, Mat progressed through the ranks from ringer to station manager, developing a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of the cattle industry.

In 2016, Mat and his family returned “home” to the rolling hills west of the range, where they settled on their own cattle property. Since then, Mat has operated a rural contracting business specialising in fencing and yard construction, as well as cattle mustering and husbandry.

Deeply involved in the local community, Mat volunteers his time at the Tabulam Campdraft and Rodeo and can often be found supporting local sport from the sidelines at netball and rugby games.

Seeking a new challenge, Mat embraced the opportunity to transition into real estate. Drawing on his extensive hands-on experience with cattle, pastures, soils, and property infrastructure, Mat brings a depth of practical knowledge and industry insight to rural property sales at Ray White.
